Chapter 54

To the chief Musician on Neginoth, Maschil, A Psalm of David, when the Ziphims came and said to Saul, Doth not David hide himself with us? Save me, O God, by thy name, and judge me by thy strength.

OH Dios, sálvame por tu nombre, Y con tu poder defiéndeme.

Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.

Oh Dios, oye mi oración; Escucha las razones de mi boca.

For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.

Porque extraños se han levantado contra mí, Y fuertes buscan mi alma: No han puesto á Dios delante de sí. (Selah.)

Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

He aquí, Dios es el que me ayuda; El Señor es con los que sostienen mi vida.

He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.

El volverá el mal á mis enemigos: Córtalos por tu verdad.

I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.

Voluntariamente sacrificaré á ti; Alabaré tu nombre, oh Jehová, porque es bueno.

For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.

Porque me ha librado de toda angustia, Y en mis enemigos vieron mis ojos mi deseo.
