Chapter 96

O sing unto the LORD a new song: sing unto the LORD, all the earth.

Singet dem HERRN ein neues Lied; singet dem HERRN alle Welt!

Sing unto the LORD, bless his name; shew forth his salvation from day to day.

Singet dem HERRN und lobet seinen Namen; verkündiget von Tag zu Tage sein Heil!

Declare his glory among the heathen, his wonders among all people.

Erzählet unter den Heiden seine Ehre, unter allen Völkern seine Wunder.

For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.

Denn der HERR ist groß und hoch zu loben, wunderbar über alle Götter.

For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.

Denn alle Götter der Völker sind Götzen; aber der HERR hat den Himmel gemacht.

Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Es stehet herrlich und prächtig vor ihm und gehet gewaltig und löblich zu in seinem Heiligtum.

Give unto the LORD, O ye kindreds of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Ihr Völker, bringet her dem HERRN, bringet her dem HERRN Ehre und Macht.

Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.

Bringet her dem HERRN die Ehre seines Namens; bringet Geschenke und kommt in seine Vorhöfe!

O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.

Betet an den HERRN in heiligem Schmuck; es fürchte ihn alle Welt!

Say among the heathen that the LORD reigneth: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.

Saget unter den Heiden, daß der HERR König sei und habe sein Reich, soweit die Welt ist, bereitet, daß es bleiben soll, und richtet die Völker recht.

Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof.

Der Himmel freue sich, und die Erde sei fröhlich; das Meer brause und was darinnen ist;

Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice

das Feld sei fröhlich und alles, was darauf ist; und lasset rühmen alle Bäume im Walde

Before the LORD: for he cometh, for he cometh to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.

vor dem HERRN; denn er kommt, denn er kommt, zu richten das Erdreich. Er wird den Erdboden richten mit Gerechtigkeit und die Völker mit seiner Wahrheit.
